Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct patient support and care.

• Perform thorough patient evaluations.

• Create tailored treatment plans for patients.

• Prescribe medications when appropriate.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Work collaboratively with therapists and prescribers as part of multidisciplinary teams.

• Engage in regular staffing meetings with therapists to discuss patient cases and clinical topics.

• Attend clinical conferences four times a week, meeting specified minimum attendance criteria.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a PMHNP license.

• Open to obtaining licensure in additional states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.

• Minimum of 6 months prior experience as a PMHNP is required.

• Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient in computer and basic technology skills.

• Strong clinical expertise in the field of psychiatry.

• Solid background in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and administering psychopharmacological treatments.

• Knowledge of non-pharmacological interventions is preferred.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management abilities.

• Mandatory attendance at clinical conferences at least once a week for the first 90 days of employment, subsequently transitioning to once monthly.
