Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment

• Provide direct care to patients

• Perform patient evaluations

• Create individualized treatment plans

• Prescribe medications when necessary

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines

• Work in partnership with therapists and prescribers within multidisciplinary teams

• Meet with collaborating therapists at least once a month to review patient cases or discuss clinical topics

• Participate in clinical conferences four times a week, with mandatory attendance based on the onboarding schedule

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a PMHNP license is required

• Willingness to obtain licensure in alternative states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA

• Minimum of 6 months of prior experience as a PMHNP

• Capability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals

• Proficient in computer skills and basic technology

• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry

• Comprehensive knowledge of diagnosing psychiatric conditions and psychopharmacological treatments

• Understanding of non-pharmacological treatment approaches

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Required attendance at clinical conferences at least once weekly during the first 90 days; thereafter, once monthly
