Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct patient care and perform thorough patient evaluations.

• Create treatment plans and prescribe medications as needed.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Assemble teams consisting of multiple therapists and a prescribing clinician.

• Engage in regular collaboration with therapists, at least once a month, to review patient cases or clinical topics.

• Participate in clinical team meetings virtually.

• Attend a minimum of one clinical conference weekly during the first 90 days, followed by one per month thereafter.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a PMHNP license.

• Willingness to obtain licensure in alternative states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.

• Minimum of 6 months of previous experience as a PMHNP.

• Capability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient in computer use and basic technology skills.

• Strong clinical foundation in psychiatry.

• Extensive experience in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and administering psychopharmacological treatments.

• Knowledgeable in non-pharmacological interventions.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
