Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver efficient individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment

• Provide direct patient services

• Perform patient evaluations

• Create comprehensive treatment plans

• Prescribe medications when necessary

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines

• Frequently collaborate with therapists to review patient cases or discuss clinical matters

• Engage in team-oriented care alongside various therapists and a prescriber

• Participate in mandatory clinical conferences

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a PMHNP license

• Willingness to obtain licensing in AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, and WA

• Minimum of 6 months of previous experience as a PMHNP

• Capability to work effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals

• Strong computer skills and familiarity with basic technology

• Robust clinical expertise in psychiatry

• Extensive knowledge in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological therapies

• Understanding of non-pharmacological treatment methods

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management abilities

• Commit to attending at least one clinical conference weekly for the first 90 days of employment, followed by monthly attendance
