Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment

• Provide direct patient care and carry out patient evaluations

• Formulate treatment plans and prescribe medications as deemed necessary

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines

• Collaborate with therapists and engage in regular staffing meetings at least once a month to review patient cases or clinical matters

• Become part of a team that includes multiple therapists and a prescriber

• Participate in clinical conferences at least weekly during the initial 90 days, transitioning to monthly thereafter

• Conduct clinical duties from a remote location

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid PMHNP license in at least one of the following states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, or WA

• Willingness to secure additional state licenses as necessary

• Previous experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is preferred but not mandatory

• Must not own or manage a private practice

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals

• Strong computer proficiency and comfort with EHRs, telehealth platforms, and other essential technologies

• Solid clinical foundation in psychiatry and behavioral health

• Comprehensive knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological therapies

• Familiarity with non-pharmacological and evidence-based behavioral health methods

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities

• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities

• Capacity to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based, and collaborative psychiatric care within a telehealth setting
