Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Deliver individualized psychiatric care effectively through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct care to patients.

• Conduct thorough patient assessments.

• Formulate comprehensive treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications when necessary.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Regularly collaborate with therapists, at least on a monthly basis, to review patient cases or clinical topics.

• Participate in clinical conferences at least weekly during the first 90 days of employment and monthly thereafter.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid PMHNP license in at least one of the following states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, or WA.

• Openness to obtaining additional state licenses as required to enhance patient access.

• Previous PMHNP experience is preferred, but it is not mandatory.

• Must not possess or run a private practice.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient computer skills and comfort with using EHRs, telehealth platforms, and other essential technology.

• Strong foundation in clinical psychiatry and behavioral health.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological approaches.

• Acquainted with non-pharmacological and evidence-based behavioral health strategies.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

• Capacity to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based, and collaborative psychiatric care in a telehealth setting.
