Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Offer direct patient care services.

• Perform patient assessments.

• Create treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Prescribe medications when deemed necessary.

• Provide care in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines.

• Assemble teams consisting of various therapists and a prescriber.

• Collaborate with therapists at least once a month to review patient cases or discuss clinical topics.

• Participate in mandatory clinical conferences.

• Carry out clinical duties from a home office.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a PMHNP license is required.

• Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.

• A minimum of 6 months of previous experience as a PMHNP.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient in computer usage and basic technology.

• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry.

• Robust experience in diagnosing psychiatric conditions and psychopharmacological treatments.

• Knowledge of non-pharmacological interventions.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Commitment to attend at least one clinical conference each week for the first 90 days, and subsequently one per month.
