Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct patient services.

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations.

• Create tailored treatment strategies.

• Prescribe medications as needed.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical practices.

• Foster collaborative teams with therapists and prescribers.

• Meet with collaborating therapists at least once a month to review patient cases or discuss clinical matters.

• Participate in virtual clinical team meetings and clinical conferences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a PMHNP license.

• Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.

• Minimum of 6 months of previous experience as a PMHNP.

• Capability to work collaboratively with a diverse array of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient in computer usage and basic technology.

• Strong clinical foundation in psychiatry.

• Extensive knowledge in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and administering psychopharmacological treatments.

• Awareness of non-pharmacological treatment options.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management abilities.

• Mandatory attendance at a clinical conference at least once a week for the initial 90 days of employment, followed by monthly attendance.
