Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct patient treatment.

• Execute patient evaluations.

• Create personalized treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications when necessary.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Foster collaborative teams with therapists and a prescriber.

• Engage with collaborating therapists at least once a month to review patient cases or clinical subjects.

• Participate in at least one clinical conference weekly during the initial 90 days of employment.

• Attend one clinical conference each month following the first 90 days.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a PMHNP license is required.

• Willingness to obtain licensing in alternative states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.

• Minimum of 6 months of previous experience as a PMHNP.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.

• Competent computer and basic technology skills.

• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry.

• Extensive knowledge in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and implementing psychopharmacological treatments.

• Familiarity with non-pharmacological treatment methods.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
