Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Deliver individual psychiatric care effectively through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct patient care services.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.

• Formulate and implement treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications when necessary.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Work collaboratively with therapists and prescribers as part of multidisciplinary teams.

• Hold regular meetings with collaborating therapists to review patient cases or clinical subjects.

• Participate in clinical conferences at least once a week during the first 90 days, then shift to monthly attendance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid PMHNP license is required.

• Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.

• Minimum of 6 months of prior experience as a PMHNP is necessary.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient computer skills and basic technological abilities.

• Strong clinical foundation in psychiatry.

• Extensive experience in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and administering psychopharmacological treatments.

• Knowledge of non-pharmacological interventions.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
