Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Deliver individualized psychiatric care effectively through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct patient care services.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.

• Create tailored treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications when necessary.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines.

• Collaborate with therapists and engage in regular staffing sessions to discuss patient cases and clinical matters.

• Attend clinical conferences weekly for the first 90 days, and subsequently on a monthly basis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a PMHNP license is mandatory.

• Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.

• Minimum of 6 months of prior experience working as a PMHNP.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient in computer usage and basic technological skills.

• Strong clinical foundation in psychiatry.

• Adept in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and providing psychopharmacological treatments.

• Knowledge of non-pharmacological treatment interventions.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, along with strong organizational and time management abilities.
