Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct patient support and care.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.

• Create and implement treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications when necessary.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines.

• Collaborate with therapists and prescribers within multidisciplinary teams.

• Hold regular meetings with collaborating therapists, at least once a month, to review patient cases or discuss clinical topics.

• Participate in mandatory clinical conferences.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid PMHNP license is mandatory.

• Willingness to obtain licensure in other states is required.

• Previous experience as a PMHNP is preferred but not essential.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient computer skills and basic technological knowledge.

• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry.

• Extensive experience in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and administering psychopharmacological treatments.

• Knowledge of non-pharmacological therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Must attend at least one clinical conference weekly during the first 90 days of employment, transitioning to one monthly thereafter.
