This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.
• Provide direct patient support and perform thorough patient evaluations.
• Create personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Prescribe medications when clinically appropriate.
• Ensure that all care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate within clinical teams that include therapists and a psychiatric prescriber.
• Connect with eligible psychotherapists seeking a prescriber during the onboarding process, with team matching organized by BlueSky.
• Engage in monthly staffing meetings with collaborating therapists to discuss patient cases, treatment coordination, and clinical matters.
• Offer clinical services remotely from the comfort of home.
• Participate in virtual meetings with the clinical team.
• Attend BlueSky clinical conferences at least once a week during the initial 90 days, and monthly thereafter.
• Possess an active, unrestricted PMHNP license in at least one of the following states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, or WA.
• Willingness to acquire additional state licenses as necessary.
• Minimum of six months of experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Must not own or operate a private practice.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of healthcare professionals.
• Strong clinical foundation in psychiatry and behavioral health.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in assessing and diagnosing psychiatric disorders and delivering psychopharmacological treatment.
• Familiarity with non-pharmacological and evidence-based behavioral health strategies.
• Proficient computer skills and comfortable using EHRs, telehealth platforms, and essential technology.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Capability to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based, collaborative psychiatric care within a telehealth framework.
• Flexible scheduling options including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Work remotely from home.

• Attend clinical conferences four times a week.
