This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Deliver individualized psychiatric care effectively through telehealth in an outpatient environment.
• Provide direct patient care services.
• Perform thorough patient assessments.
• Create customized treatment plans for each patient.
• Prescribe medications based on clinical appropriateness.
• Ensure patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate within clinical teams that include various therapists and a psychiatric prescriber.
• Engage with qualified psychotherapists seeking a prescriber during their onboarding, with team matching supported by BlueSky.
• Attend regular staffing meetings with collaborating therapists at least once a month to review patient cases, treatment coordination, and clinical discussions.
• Offer clinical services remotely from your home.
• Participate in virtual meetings with the clinical team.
• Join BlueSky clinical conferences at least weekly during the first 90 days and monthly thereafter.
• Must possess an active, unrestricted PMHNP license in at least one of the following states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, or WA.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as required.
• A minimum of six months of experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• Must not own or operate a private practice.
• Capability to work collaboratively with a diverse array of healthcare professionals.
• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry and behavioral health.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in the assessment and diagnosis of psychiatric disorders, along with psychopharmacological treatments.
• Familiarity with non-pharmacological and evidence-based behavioral health interventions.
• Proficient in computer skills and comfortable using EHRs, telehealth platforms, and other essential technologies.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based, and collaborative psychiatric care in a telehealth setting.
• Work remotely from home.
• Enjoy flexible working hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Participate in virtual clinical team meetings.
• Attend clinical conferences held four times a week.
• Be part of collaborative clinical teams with team matching facilitated by BlueSky.
• Experience clinician autonomy without unnecessary corporate administrative interference.
