This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.
• Provide direct patient care services.
• Perform thorough patient assessments.
• Create personalized treatment plans for each patient.
• Prescribe medications when clinically justified.
• Offer care in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate within clinical teams that include therapists and a psychiatric prescriber.
• Engage in monthly staffing meetings with collaborating therapists to review patient cases, coordinate treatment, and discuss clinical matters.
• Render clinical services remotely from a home setting.
• Join virtual clinical team meetings.
• Attend BlueSky clinical conferences four times weekly; mandatory attendance at least once weekly during the initial 90 days and once monthly thereafter.
• Possess an active, unrestricted PMHNP license in at least one of the following states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, or WA.
• Willingness to secure additional state licenses as necessary.
• Minimum of six months' experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• Must not possess or manage a private practice.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.
• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry and behavioral health.
• Knowledge and experience in assessing and diagnosing psychiatric disorders and managing psychopharmacological treatment.
• Familiarity with non-pharmacological and evidence-based interventions in behavioral health.
• Proficient computer skills and comfort with using EHRs, telehealth platforms, and basic technology.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
• Ability to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based, collaborative psychiatric care within a telehealth framework.
• Flexible scheduling options determined by the clinician, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Remote clinical services from the comfort of home.
• Independence to practice without unnecessary corporate administrative constraints.
• Collaborative clinical teams with team matching support provided by BlueSky.
• Participation in virtual clinical team meetings.
• Access to BlueSky clinical conferences.
