This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Deliver effective individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.
• Provide direct care to patients.
• Perform thorough patient assessments.
• Create tailored treatment plans for each patient.
• Prescribe medications as deemed clinically appropriate.
• Ensure care delivery aligns with relevant laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate within clinical teams that include therapists and a psychiatric prescriber.
• Connect with qualified psychotherapists in need of a prescriber, with team matching organized by BlueSky.
• Engage in monthly staffing sessions with collaborating therapists to discuss patient cases, coordinate treatment, and explore clinical topics.
• Offer clinical services remotely from a home office.
• Take part in virtual clinical team meetings.
• Attend BlueSky clinical conferences four times weekly, with mandatory attendance at least once a week during the first 90 days and monthly thereafter.
• Possess an active, unrestricted PMHNP license in at least one of the following states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, or WA.
• Willingness to acquire additional state licenses as necessary.
• A minimum of six months of prior experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• Must not operate or own a private practice.
• Capability to collaborate with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.
• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry and behavioral health.
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in assessing and diagnosing psychiatric conditions and delivering psychopharmacological treatment.
• Familiarity with non-pharmacological and evidence-based behavioral health interventions.
• Proficient computer skills and comfort with EHRs, telehealth platforms, and basic technology.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based, collaborative psychiatric care in a telehealth setting.
• Work remotely through telehealth from home.
• Flexible scheduling options, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Clinician autonomy without unnecessary corporate administrative interference.
• Collaborative clinical team matching organized by BlueSky.
