This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Deliver individual psychiatric care effectively through telehealth in an outpatient environment.
• Provide direct care to patients.
• Perform thorough patient assessments.
• Create personalized treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications when clinically appropriate.
• Offer care in line with relevant laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate within clinical teams that include therapists and a psychiatric prescriber.
• Engage with qualified psychotherapists looking for a prescriber, with team pairing supported by BlueSky.
• Join staffing sessions with collaborating therapists at least once a month to discuss patient cases, treatment coordination, and clinical matters.
• Provide clinical services remotely from your home.
• Take part in virtual clinical team meetings.
• Attend BlueSky clinical conferences four times a week, with at least one session weekly during the first 90 days and monthly thereafter.
• Valid, unrestricted PMHNP license in at least one of the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, or Washington.
• Willingness to acquire additional state licenses as required.
• Minimum of six months of prior experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Must not operate or own a private practice.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.
• Solid clinical background in psychiatry and behavioral health.
• Strong knowledge and experience in evaluating and diagnosing psychiatric disorders and providing psychopharmacological treatment.
• Familiarity with non-pharmacological and evidence-based behavioral health interventions.
• Proficient computer skills and comfort with EHRs, telehealth platforms, and basic technology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Capability to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based, collaborative psychiatric care in a telehealth setting.
• Flexible scheduling options determined by the clinician, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Work remotely from home.
• Freedom to practice in the best interest of patients without unnecessary corporate administrative constraints.
• Collaborative clinical teams with team matching facilitated by BlueSky.
• Participation in virtual clinical team meetings.
• Involvement in BlueSky clinical conferences.
• Utilize a telehealth consultation model.
