Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct patient services.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.

• Create and implement treatment plans.

• Prescribe necessary medications.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with therapists and engage in regular staffing to review patient cases or clinical topics.

• Participate in mandatory clinical conferences.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid PMHNP license is required.

• Willingness to obtain licensing in other states.

• Previous experience as a PMHNP is preferred, though not mandatory.

• Capability to work effectively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient in computer usage and basic technology.

• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry.

• Solid background in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and administering psychopharmacological treatments.

• Knowledge of non-pharmacological treatment methods.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
