Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct patient services.

• Perform patient evaluations.

• Create comprehensive treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications as deemed necessary.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with therapists and engage in regular staffing meetings at least once a month to review patient cases or clinical matters.

• Participate in virtual clinical team discussions.

• Attend clinical conferences four times a week, with mandatory attendance at least once weekly during the initial 90 days and monthly thereafter.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a PMHNP license.

• Willingness to obtain licenses in other states.

• Previous experience as a PMHNP is preferred but not mandatory.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient computer skills and basic technological knowledge.

• Strong clinical foundation in psychiatry.

• Extensive experience in diagnosing psychiatric conditions and administering psychopharmacological treatments.

• Knowledge of non-pharmacological treatment options.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management abilities.

• Attend at least one clinical conference weekly during the first 90 days of employment; thereafter, participate in one monthly.
