Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment

• Provide direct patient services

• Perform patient evaluations

• Create treatment strategies

• Prescribe medications when necessary

• Ensure patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards

• Become part of a team of therapists and a prescriber through the onboarding matching procedure

• Engage in regular collaboration with therapists, at least once a month, to review patient cases or clinical topics

• Participate in clinical conferences four times a week, with mandatory attendance initially and monthly thereafter

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a PMHNP license

• Willingness to obtain licensing in alternative states

• Previous experience as a PMHNP is preferred but not essential

• Capability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals

• Proficient computer and basic technology skills

• Strong clinical foundation in psychiatry

• Solid experience in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological treatments

• Knowledge of non-pharmacological interventions

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Attend at least one clinical conference weekly for the first 90 days of employment; thereafter, one monthly
