Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment

• Provide hands-on patient care

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments

• Create and implement treatment plans

• Prescribe medications as required

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines

• Assemble care teams with therapists and a prescriber during the onboarding process

• Hold regular meetings with collaborating therapists to review patient cases or clinical subjects

• Participate in clinical conferences at least once a week for the first 90 days, then monthly thereafter

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a PMHNP license

• Willingness to obtain licenses in additional states

• Previous experience as a PMHNP is preferred but not mandatory

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals

• Proficient in computer use and basic technology

• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry

• Solid experience in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and providing psychopharmacological treatments

• Knowledge of non-pharmacological treatment methods

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management abilities
