Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver individual psychiatric care effectively through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct care to patients.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.

• Formulate treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications when necessary.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular collaboration with therapists to review patient cases or clinical matters.

• Participate in mandatory clinical conferences.

• Take part in onboarding and team matching with qualified psychotherapists.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid PMHNP license is required.

• Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states.

• Previous experience as a PMHNP is preferred but not mandatory.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient in computer usage and basic technological skills.

• Strong clinical background in the field of psychiatry.

• Extensive knowledge in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological treatments.

• Familiarity with non-pharmacological treatment approaches.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Attend at least one clinical conference weekly for the first 90 days of employment; subsequently, attend one monthly.
