Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver individualized psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct care to patients.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.

• Formulate tailored treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications as required.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with therapists and prescribers as part of multidisciplinary teams.

• Engage in regular monthly staffing meetings with collaborating therapists to discuss patient cases or clinical matters.

• Participate in virtual clinical team meetings and clinical conferences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a valid PMHNP license is required.

• Willingness to obtain licensure in AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, and WA.

• Minimum of 6 months experience working as a PMHNP.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively within a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient in computer usage and basic technological skills.

• Strong clinical foundation in the field of psychiatry.

• In-depth knowledge of diagnosing psychiatric disorders and administering psychopharmacological treatments.

• Awareness of non-pharmacological treatment options.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Commit to attending at least one clinical conference each week for the initial 90 days; thereafter, one conference monthly.
