Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct care to patients.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.

• Create individualized treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications when necessary.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with therapists and engage in regular staffing meetings to review patient cases or clinical subjects.

• Participate in clinical conferences four times a week, with mandatory attendance at least once a week during the first 90 days and monthly thereafter.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a PMHNP license.

• Willingness to obtain licenses in various states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.

• Minimum of 6 months prior experience as a PMHNP.

• Ability to work effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient in computer usage and basic technology skills.

• Strong clinical background in psychiatry.

• Extensive knowledge in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and administering psychopharmacological treatments.

• Understanding of non-pharmacological treatment options.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Attend at least one clinical conference weekly for the first 90 days, followed by one monthly thereafter.
