Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver individualized psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct care to patients.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.

• Create and implement treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications as needed.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Work collaboratively with therapists and prescribers within multidisciplinary teams.

• Engage in regular staffing sessions with collaborating therapists to review patient cases or clinical matters.

• Attend mandatory clinical conferences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a PMHNP license.

• Willingness to obtain licenses in additional states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.

• A minimum of 6 months of previous experience as a PMHNP.

• Capability to work effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient in computer and basic technology skills.

• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry.

• Solid experience in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and administering psychopharmacological treatments.

• Knowledge of non-pharmacological treatment options.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.

• Must participate in at least one clinical conference weekly for the first 90 days; thereafter, one per month.
