Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver efficient individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment

• Provide direct patient services

• Perform thorough patient evaluations

• Create tailored treatment plans

• Prescribe medications as deemed clinically appropriate

• Administer care in line with relevant laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles

• Collaborate within clinical teams consisting of therapists and a psychiatric prescriber

• Engage with qualified psychotherapists during their onboarding process

• Attend monthly staffing meetings with collaborating therapists to review patient cases, treatment coordination, and clinical discussions

• Offer clinical services remotely from a home setting

• Join virtual clinical team meetings

• Participate in BlueSky clinical conferences four times a week; mandatory attendance at least weekly during the first 90 days and monthly thereafter

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an active, unrestricted PMHNP license in at least one of the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, or Washington

• Must be open to acquiring additional state licenses as necessary

• Previous PMHNP experience is preferred but not mandatory

• Must not operate or own a private practice

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals

• Robust clinical foundation in psychiatry and behavioral health

• Strong understanding and experience in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and psychopharmacological treatment

• Knowledgeable in non-pharmacological and evidence-based behavioral health strategies

• Proficient computer skills and comfortable using EHRs, telehealth platforms, and basic technology

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities

• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities

• Capacity to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based, collaborative psychiatric care in a telehealth format
