Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver efficient individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct care to patients.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.

• Create detailed treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications when necessary.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with therapists and prescribers within multidisciplinary teams.

• Meet with collaborating therapists at least once a month to review patient cases or discuss clinical topics.

• Participate in virtual clinical team meetings and clinical conferences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a PMHNP license.

• Willingness to obtain licensure in alternative states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.

• A minimum of 6 months of previous experience as a PMHNP.

• Ability to work effectively within a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient computer and basic technology skills.

• Strong clinical foundation in psychiatry.

• Extensive knowledge in the diagnosis of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological treatments.

• Familiarity with non-pharmacological interventions.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

• Required to attend clinical conferences at least once weekly during the first 90 days; thereafter, attendance is monthly.
