Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver individualized psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct patient care services.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.

• Formulate and implement treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications when deemed necessary.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Operate independently in the best interests of patients.

• Participate in at least one clinical conference each week during the initial 90 days of employment.

• Attend one clinical conference monthly following the first 90 days.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a PMHNP license in Iowa.

• Willingness to obtain licensing in Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient computer and technology skills.

• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry.

• Robust background in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and administering psychopharmacological treatments.

• Understanding of non-pharmacological interventions.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
