Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide hands-on patient care.

• Perform patient evaluations.

• Create treatment strategies.

• Prescribe medications as deemed appropriate.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in virtual clinical team discussions.

• Participate in clinical conferences four times weekly, with a mandatory attendance of at least one per week during the initial 90 days and one monthly thereafter.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a PMHNP license in Tennessee is required.

• Willingness to obtain licenses in additional states: Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington.

• Capability to collaborate with a diverse array of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient in computer and technology applications.

• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry.

• Solid foundation in diagnosing psychiatric conditions and psychopharmacological treatments.

• Knowledge of non-pharmacological treatment methods.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Required to attend at least one virtual clinical conference per week during the first 90 days of employment, followed by one monthly thereafter.
