This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.
• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.
• Provide hands-on patient care.
• Perform patient evaluations.
• Create and implement treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications when necessary.
• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with therapists through regular staffing meetings, occurring at least monthly, to review patient cases or discuss clinical topics.
• Become part of a clinician team that includes therapists and a prescriber, facilitated through onboarding and team matching.
• Participate in virtual clinical team meetings and clinical conferences.
• Valid PMHNP license in at least one of the following states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, or WA.
• Willingness to acquire additional state licenses as required.
• Previous experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must not own or operate a private practice.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse array of healthcare professionals.
• Proficient computer skills and comfort with EHRs, telehealth platforms, and other essential technologies.
• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry and behavioral health.
• Comprehensive understanding of the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological interventions.
• Knowledge of non-pharmacological and evidence-based behavioral health interventions.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and time-management skills.
• Capacity to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based, and collaborative psychiatric care within a telehealth framework.
• Attend at least one clinical conference weekly during the initial 90 days of employment; thereafter, attend one per month.
• Flexible scheduling with clinician-selected days and hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Conduct clinical work from the comfort of home.
• Engage in virtual clinical team meetings.
• Enjoy the autonomy to act in the best interests of patients without corporate administrative constraints.
• Regular collaboration with therapists and prescribers.
• Experience a telehealth consultation environment.
• Participate in clinical conferences held four times a week.
