Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct care to patients.

• Perform thorough patient assessments.

• Create comprehensive treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications when necessary.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Work collaboratively with various therapists and a prescriber as part of a clinical team.

• Meet with collaborating therapists at least once a month to review patient cases or discuss clinical topics.

• Participate in clinical conferences at least once a week during the initial 90 days, and then monthly thereafter.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a PMHNP license is mandatory.

• Willingness to obtain licensure in alternative states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.

• Minimum of 6 months of prior experience working as a PMHNP.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient in computer usage and basic technology.

• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry.

• In-depth knowledge of the diagnosis of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological treatments.

• Familiarity with non-pharmacological intervention strategies.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational and time management abilities.
