Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Deliver efficient individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment

• Provide hands-on patient care

• Perform assessments of patients

• Create comprehensive treatment plans

• Prescribe necessary medications

• Ensure that patient care is in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards

• Work collaboratively with therapists and engage in team-based care

• Hold regular meetings with collaborating therapists to review patient cases or discuss clinical topics

• Participate in clinical conferences at least once a week during the initial 90 days, transitioning to once monthly thereafter

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a PMHNP license

• Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA

• Minimum of 6 months of prior experience as a PMHNP

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals

• Strong computer skills and basic technology proficiency

• Robust clinical foundation in psychiatry

• Significant expertise in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and administering psychopharmacological treatments

• Knowledge of non-pharmacological interventions

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, as well as organizational and time management skills
