Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide hands-on patient care.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.

• Create tailored treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications as required.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Operate independently while prioritizing patient interests.

• Become a member of a team that includes therapists and a prescriber.

• Collaborate with therapists through regular staffing meetings, held at least monthly, to review patient cases or clinical topics.

• Participate in virtual clinical team meetings.

• Join clinical conferences four times a week, with mandatory attendance at least weekly for the first 90 days and monthly thereafter.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a PMHNP license.

• Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.

• Minimum of 6 months of previous experience as a PMHNP.

• Ability to work in collaboration with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient computer skills and basic technology proficiency.

• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry.

• Extensive experience in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and administering psychopharmacological treatments.

• Knowledge of non-pharmacological interventions.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

• Required to attend at least one clinical conference per week during the first 90 days of employment, followed by one per month.
