This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.
• Deliver individualized psychiatric care effectively through telehealth in an outpatient environment.
• Provide hands-on patient care and perform thorough patient evaluations.
• Create treatment plans and prescribe medications as required.
• Administer patient care in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines.
• Function independently without interference from corporate administration.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and a prescriber.
• Engage with assigned therapists at least once a month to review patient cases or clinical subjects.
• Participate in virtual clinical team meetings.
• Attend clinical conferences four times a week, with mandatory attendance of at least one per week during the first 90 days and one per month thereafter.
• Current PMHNP license in at least one of the following states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, or WA.
• Openness to acquiring additional state licenses as necessary to enhance patient access.
• Previous experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must not hold ownership or operate a private practice.
• Capability to work collaboratively with a diverse array of healthcare professionals.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with EHRs, telehealth platforms, and basic technology.
• Strong clinical foundation in psychiatry and behavioral health.
• Comprehensive understanding of the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders as well as psychopharmacological interventions.
• Knowledge of non-pharmacological and evidence-based behavioral health approaches.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based, and collaborative psychiatric care in a telehealth setting.
• Attend at least one clinical conference weekly during the first 90 days of employment, followed by one monthly.
• Conduct clinical work from the comfort of home.
• Flexible scheduling options available, allowing clinicians to choose their working days and hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Engage in virtual clinical team meetings.
