Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver individualized psychiatric care effectively via telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct patient support.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.

• Create detailed treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications as deemed necessary.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Operate autonomously while prioritizing the best interests of patients.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and a prescriber.

• Engage in monthly staffing meetings with therapists to discuss patient cases or clinical matters.

• Participate in at least one virtual clinical conference weekly during the initial 90 days of employment.

• Attend one virtual clinical conference each month following the first 90 days.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid PMHNP license is required.

• Willingness to obtain licenses in additional states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.

• Minimum of 6 months of prior experience as a PMHNP.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient computer skills and basic technological competence.

• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry.

• Solid experience in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and delivering psychopharmacological treatments.

• Knowledge of non-pharmacological treatment methods.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
