Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver efficient individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment

• Provide hands-on patient care

• Perform patient evaluations

• Formulate treatment plans

• Prescribe medications when necessary

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines

• Participate in clinical meetings at least once a week during the initial 90 days of employment, then monthly

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, therapists, and other healthcare providers

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a PMHNP license in Tennessee

• Willingness to obtain licensure in Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington

• Capability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals

• Proficient in computer and technology skills

• Solid clinical background in psychiatry

• Strong expertise in diagnosing psychiatric conditions

• Extensive knowledge in psychopharmacological therapies

• Familiarity with non-pharmacological treatment options

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities

• Strong organizational and time management skills
