This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.
β’ Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.
β’ Provide hands-on patient care.
β’ Perform thorough patient assessments.
β’ Create comprehensive treatment plans.
β’ Prescribe medications when necessary.
β’ Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
β’ Work collaboratively with therapists and prescribers within multidisciplinary teams.
β’ Engage with collaborating therapists at least once a month to review patient cases or discuss clinical topics.
β’ Take part in virtual clinical team meetings and clinical conferences.
β’ Hold an active PMHNP license in at least one of the following states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, or WA.
β’ Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as required to enhance patient access.
β’ Previous experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is preferred but not mandatory.
β’ Must not own or manage a private practice.
β’ Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.
β’ Proficient computer skills and comfort with EHRs, telehealth platforms, and other essential technology.
β’ Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry and behavioral health.
β’ In-depth knowledge of diagnosing and treating psychiatric disorders and applying psychopharmacological interventions.
β’ Familiarity with non-pharmacological and evidence-based behavioral health interventions.
β’ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
β’ Capacity to provide patient-centered, evidence-based, and collaborative psychiatric care within a telehealth framework.
β’ Attend at least one clinical conference weekly for the initial 90 days of employment; following that, participate in one clinical conference monthly.
β’ Conduct clinical work from the comfort of home.
β’ Flexible scheduling options, allowing clinicians to choose their working days and hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
β’ Participate in virtual clinical team meetings.
β’ Enjoy the autonomy to practice in the best interest of patients without corporate administrative constraints.
β’ Collaborate with various therapists and a prescriber.
β’ Attend clinical conferences held four times a week.
