This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.
• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.
• Provide direct patient support and assistance.
• Perform thorough patient assessments.
• Create personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient.
• Prescribe medications as clinically indicated.
• Ensure that care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles.
• Collaborate within clinical teams comprising therapists and a psychiatric prescriber.
• Engage in monthly staffing sessions with collaborating therapists.
• Review patient cases, coordinate treatment, and discuss clinical topics.
• Attend virtual clinical team meetings.
• Participate in BlueSky clinical conferences four times weekly; at least once during the first 90 days and monthly thereafter.
• Must possess a valid, unrestricted PMHNP license in at least one of the following states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, or WA.
• Must be open to obtaining additional state licenses as necessary.
• Previous experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must not operate or own a private practice.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.
• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry and behavioral health.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in the assessment and diagnosis of psychiatric conditions and psychopharmacological treatment.
• Familiarity with non-pharmacological and evidence-based behavioral health interventions.
• Proficient computer skills and comfort in using EHRs, telehealth platforms, and basic technology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Capability to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based, collaborative psychiatric care in a telehealth setting.
• Flexible scheduling options determined by the clinician, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Provision of remote clinical services from the comfort of home.
• Telehealth practice offering clinician autonomy.
• Collaborative clinical teams and team matching facilitated by BlueSky.
• Participation in virtual clinical team meetings.
• Access to BlueSky clinical conferences.
