Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver efficient individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct patient care services.

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations.

• Formulate comprehensive treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications when deemed necessary.

• Ensure that patient care aligns with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with therapists and engage in regular staffing meetings at least once a month to discuss patient cases or clinical matters.

• Attend at least one clinical conference weekly during the initial 90 days of employment, transitioning to one monthly thereafter.

• Function as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes multiple therapists and a prescriber.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid PMHNP license is required.

• Willingness to obtain licensure in alternative states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.

• Minimum of 6 months of previous experience as a PMHNP.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient in computer use and basic technology.

• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry.

• In-depth knowledge of psychiatric disorder diagnoses and psychopharmacological treatments.

• Familiarity with non-pharmacological treatment methods.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
