Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

📋 Description

• Perform patient intake and follow-up consultations to assess eligibility for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), prescribe, and monitor patient outcomes through telemedicine.

• Recommend adjustments to treatment plans based on patient feedback and treatment results.

• Collaborate with Journey Clinical's member psychotherapists for integrated care.

• Partner with the Journey Clinical care coordinator to optimize your workflow.

• Provide continuous and timely constructive feedback on the Journey Clinical care management system to enhance our services.

• Report directly to the Lead Clinician and work in tandem with the leadership team and co-founders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed to practice in one or more states.

• Currently practicing in CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, MA, MD, MN, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI.

• Possess DEA registration.

• Comfortable prescribing controlled substances when clinically appropriate.

• Experienced in prescribing for anxiety and depression.

• Ability to swiftly synthesize medical and psychiatric data about patients to create effective evidence-based clinical recommendations.

• A patient-first mindset, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering the highest standard of patient care.

• Willingness to utilize a few straightforward tools to enhance your workflow (Slack, G Suite, Zoom, etc.).

• Comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced Telehealth startup environment.

• Passion for the field of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and its potential to revolutionize mental health.
