Psychiatric Call Center APP, PMHNP/PA – Overnight 7 On/7 Off

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Provide overnight psychiatric call coverage for inpatient mental health services.

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and consultations using secure telepsychiatry technology.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, hospitalists, emergency department staff, nursing personnel, and behavioral health teams.

• Review clinical information and contribute to treatment recommendations.

• Assist with admissions, transfers, and the continuity of psychiatric care.

• Accurately and efficiently document encounters in the electronic medical record.

• Maintain outstanding communication with facility partners and clinical teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Advanced Practice Nursing or Physician Assistant program.

• Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Physician Assistant with psychiatric experience.

• Active or eligible for state licensure in the relevant states.

• DEA registration or the capability to obtain it.

• Preferred experience in inpatient psychiatry, behavioral health, emergency psychiatry, hospital medicine, or consult liaison roles.

• Exceptional clinical judgment and communication abilities.

• Comfortable working independently within a physician-led collaborative model.

• Experience with telepsychiatry is an advantage.
