Provider Services Education and Communications Pro

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Directly report to the Provider Services Director.

• Assist in the creation and execution of educational and communication materials for both external and internal stakeholders.

• Oversee a content management system to effectively organize and store materials.

• Develop and sustain educational content aimed at external audiences, including templates, memos, and updates for the website.

• Collaborate with various departments to refresh annual provider educational resources in accordance with state contract requirements.

• Regularly meet with project teams to assess training, education, and support needs while aligning segment strategies and methodologies.

• Document policies, processes, and technical information in clear, audience-appropriate language.

• Monitor participation, engagement, and effectiveness of training and communication initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

• Over 3 years of experience in marketing and communications, particularly in drafting content for resources, educational materials, and training.

• Experience in provider relations, provider communications and education, and/or related health plan operations.

• Understanding of learning design principles with a proven ability to create clear and engaging provider training and educational materials.

• Experience in template design.

• Proven track record in writing educational materials.

• Position must be based in Virginia or within 20 miles of the state.

• Minimum home internet download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps required.

• Dedicated workspace free from disruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.
