Provider Data Service Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver operational assistance and carry out data maintenance and cleanup for data transactions ranging from basic to complex.

• Execute data transactions and maintenance tasks for projects, expansions, and the implementation of new products.

• Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate provider data for members.

• Update and maintain provider demographic and contract details in relevant systems to facilitate claims processing and provider directories.

• Partner with both internal and external stakeholders to establish new networks and intricate contractual agreements.

• Possibly assume technical and/or functional leadership roles within the unit, including team lead responsibilities.

• Validate enhancements to the system.

• Identify, investigate, and perform root cause analyses on provider data issues and trends.

• Work collaboratively across functions to suggest process improvements.

• Conduct and oversee audits of provider information and escalate issues for resolution when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in managing information across multiple databases.

• 1 to 2 years of experience in provider data services.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Demonstrated capability to perform in a production environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced skills in Excel.

• Track record of effectively prioritizing tasks and multitasking in a dynamic environment.

• Proven success in collaborating with others to achieve or surpass expectations.

• Experience in providing clear and concise written and verbal communication.

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience is required.

• EPDB experience is preferred.
