Proposal Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct interviews with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather content details and review technical written sections with SMEs for accuracy, ensuring that win strategies are integrated into the document and that it adheres to the formats specified in the Request for Proposal (RFP).

• Collaborate closely with the business development team to comprehend client requirements and develop customer-centric solutions that address their needs.

• Partner with the proposal manager, volume lead, and graphic artist to ensure strong coordination and open communication throughout the proposal development process, maintaining content that is both responsive and compelling.

• Leverage proposal source files and various research methods to gather information and relevant materials for writing technical, management, past performance, executive summaries, and other sections of the proposal.

• Gather feedback during reviews, assess suggested revisions, and update drafts continuously throughout the process.

• Convert complex information collected into clear, concise, and persuasive content.

• Conduct intelligence research, collect data, analyze, and validate customer requirements and expressions of need/interest.

• Engage in proposal kick-off meetings and status meetings, assisting in the maintenance of the proposal schedule.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

• Over 10 years of proven technical, IT, or Operations experience within a large-scale technology services environment, particularly in Software Development, Application Support, and Infrastructure Support.

• More than 5 years of demonstrated experience in leading the business development lifecycle and planning, including problem framing, solution and technical volume development, and support for proposal writing, with a successful track record.

• Familiarity with how specific infrastructures and application software are deployed according to relevant methodologies and frameworks.

• Experience in articulating highly technical data and information in simple language for end users of complex IT systems and projects across all areas of the company's capabilities.

• Capacity to conceptualize graphics that effectively convey key solution concepts, illustrating processes, relationships, dependencies, technologies, benefits, features, and other ideas that connect solutions to problems.

• Ability to perform under deadline pressure while ensuring accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.

• Proven strategic thinking and leadership skills with a strong emphasis on relationship management.

• Strong understanding of Shipley Methodology is preferred.

• Experience with SAFe/Agile Software Development.
