Proposal Pricing Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Contribute to and/or take charge of the development and formulation of cost/price proposals in response to RFP requirements, ensuring adherence to Government policies, regulations, and internal procedures.

• Compile, assess, and review proposal cost data utilizing both conventional and innovative cost estimating methods and tools.

• Assist in the pricing of task order proposals under IDIQ contracts, guaranteeing precise Schedule B attachments, rate pools, labor categories, and direct labor inputs (including hours).

• Collaborate closely with the capture manager, proposal manager, finance team, and executives to ensure the cost/price proposal is accurate, comprehensive, competitive, and compliant.

• Perform market research and evaluate pricing trends to suggest competitive and optimized pricing strategies.

• Ensure all proposals meet the requirements of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).

• Identify and address any pricing-related issues or discrepancies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• 5 years of experience in proposal pricing within the Federal Government contracting sector.

• Experience in supporting the pricing of task order proposals under IDIQ contracts.

• Strong familiarity with FAR and DFARS regulations.

• Knowledge of financial principles and the capability to create accurate pricing models.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure adherence to pricing requirements and accuracy in cost data.
