This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee the creation of high-quality, compliant, and persuasive proposals and RFI responses for federal opportunities.
• Manage and coordinate the entire proposal lifecycle, which includes kickoff meetings, Q&A submissions, data calls, RFP analyses, stand-up meetings, and color reviews.
• Ensure compliance with RFP requirements and timely submission of proposals.
• Communicate proposal milestones and updates to both internal teams and external partners.
• Organize and facilitate structured kickoff meetings for proposals.
• Conduct proposal color reviews and gather actionable feedback.
• Utilize desktop publishing, production, and graphic design skills to create high-quality proposal deliverables.
• Lead and engage in proposal solution workshops to identify gaps and risks.
• Develop, populate, and customize reusable content and artifacts within proposal outlines and templates.
• Establish and maintain a repository of reusable proposal content, graphics, artifacts, and templates.
• Lead post-submission lessons learned sessions and support process improvements and AI-enabled proposal operations.
• Proven experience in managing and developing complex multi-volume proposals using formal proposal development processes.
• Proficient in developing and applying proposal management artifacts, such as schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, kickoffs, storyboards, mockups, and color review briefings.
• Strong skills in project management, time management, prioritization, and communication.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills for overseeing proposal structures, RFP sections, and appendices.
• Experience in integrating AI-enabled tools into proposal management workflows while ensuring quality and compliance.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to foster cross-functional collaboration.
• Comprehensive understanding of federal contracting, business development, capture, and proposal processes.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience in place of a degree.
• At least 6 years of experience managing multi-volume proposals that have led to federal contract awards.
• Advanced skills in desktop publishing.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into clear, actionable tasks and processes.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a federal government-issued security clearance if necessary.
• APMP Foundation Certification and/or familiarity with Shipley Proposal methodology is preferred.
• Experience in proposal-related desktop publishing and/or graphic development is advantageous.
• Proposal writing and editing experience is a bonus.
