This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the entire RFP response journey, from the initial kickoff to the final submission. Assess RFPs to determine requirements, compliance aspects, and evaluation criteria—especially for SLED procurement. Gather vendor and scoping inquiries, collaborate with Finance and Sales on pricing, draft tailored responses, conduct thorough QA reviews, and ensure that all submissions adhere to deadlines and quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Practice teams, and Vendor Management to develop and enhance proposal and SOW content. Sustain and improve our Responsive (formerly RFPIO) answer library and knowledge database. Review existing templates to guarantee consistency and standardization. Recognize content deficiencies and lead the creation of reusable, high-quality response materials specifically designed for SLED needs.
• Foster strong internal relationships by offering support, information, and guidance to stakeholders. Serve as a conduit between Sales, Technical Practices, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Executive teams. Coordinate contributions from subject matter experts and communicate proposal status, process updates, and system modifications throughout the organization.
• Assist the team in tracking RFP reporting statistics, including win/loss ratios, revenue, and lessons learned. Evaluate proposal results to uncover opportunities for improvement and promote ongoing enhancements in response quality, efficiency, and success rates.
• 4-5 years of professional experience
• At least 2 years in a decision-making and writing role at the enterprise level
• Strong preference for experience in SLED (State, Local, and Education) proposals
• Background in the cybersecurity or technology sectors is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Professional/Technical Writing, English, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience
• Advanced writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple proposals in a dynamic environment
• Customer service-oriented with a keen attention to detail
• Self-driven with a proven ability to make decisions
• Positive demeanor and ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe PDF
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Responsive (formerly RFPIO), and Salesforce is preferred.
• Primarily remote workforce (U.S. based only; some travel may be necessary for specific positions, on-site work may be required for Federal roles)
