This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Provide support to the US Nuclear team within both Commercial Nuclear and Federal sectors.
• Propel strategic growth initiatives and oversee the creation of compliant and persuasive proposals.
• Manage the complete proposal lifecycle, from the receipt of RFP/RFQ, RFI/EOI, or similar requests to final submission.
• Organize and coordinate proposal activities, including project scheduling, contributor assignments, review gate management, and production planning.
• Assemble, lead, and guide multidisciplinary proposal teams.
• Remove obstacles for subject matter experts and escalate risks to guarantee timely completion.
• Collaborate closely with the designated Capture Manager.
• Assist in storyboarding, content creation and management, and formatting tasks.
• Perform structured quality reviews and ensure adherence to client requirements.
• Oversee final assembly and submission processes, including portal requirements.
• Collect and format information while managing deadlines for proposal submissions.
• Foster business relationships and present compelling value propositions.
• Build and sustain professional networks and customer relationships.
• Coordinate company resources for proposals and related market responses.
• Engage in strategic planning with leadership.
• Secure necessary approvals and implement company governance policies.
• Deliver proposals to clients and engage with them regarding requests and issues.
• Collaborate with Contracts, Legal, and Procurement teams regarding contract terms and conditions.
• Communicate with technical experts and Operations staff to devise customer solutions.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is mandatory.
• Experience in project management and team leadership is essential.
• At least 15 years of experience in proposal development for US government programs is required.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-contributor proposals under strict deadlines.
• A minimum of 10 years' experience in the Federal Government Acquisition environment and Proposal Development, specifically with Department of Energy Environmental Management/NNSA and/or Office of Science is preferred.
• Experience in Commercial Nuclear is desired.
• Familiarity with Proposal Management processes and tools is necessary.
• Increasingly valued proficiency in AI-assisted proposal workflows and content libraries.
• Key account management experience is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills are required.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities are necessary.
• Advanced presentation skills are required.
