Proposal Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Oversee the preparation processes and timelines for individual study quotations

• Generate quotations utilizing the company's pricing tools

• Acquire quotes from third-party vendors collaborating with partner companies

• Engage in strategy discussions and budget review meetings

• Suggest appealing proposals based on financial and operational standards

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the quality and timeliness of quotations

• Coordinate with Business Development Directors to ensure proposals are comprehensive and fulfill requirements

• Support Business Development presentations

• Keep the CRM database updated and ensure the accuracy of departmental information

• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for both internal and external clients

• Involve in Proposal Management initiatives

• Execute other related tasks as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a scientific, business, or marketing-related field

• 3–5 years of experience in customer service or a related area

• Preferred experience in a contract research or research environment

• A combination of education and experience may substitute for the listed qualifications

• Capability to perform calculations and manage budgets effectively

• Proficiency in applying mathematical concepts to clinical trial budget management

• Ability to read and interpret business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, and clinical research protocols

• Competence in writing reports and business correspondence

• Skill in presenting information and addressing inquiries from colleagues and clients

• Ability to resolve practical issues with limited standardization

• Proficient in interpreting written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled instructions

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint

• Quick aptitude for learning new database software

• Experience with Salesforce and SharePoint is preferred
