This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Oversee the proposal process from pre-RFP planning to final submission.
• Create and manage proposal timelines, milestones, compliance matrices, and production schedules.
• Handle multiple simultaneous proposal efforts while adhering to tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with technical, management, contracts, pricing, and executive teams throughout the proposal lifecycle.
• Organize kickoff meetings, status updates, color team reviews, recovery sessions, and final production tasks.
• Act as the main point of accountability for proposal execution and timely delivery.
• Analyze and interpret RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, BAAs, and other government acquisition documents.
• Create compliance matrices and proposal outlines that address customer requirements.
• Ensure adherence to Section L, Section M, evaluation criteria, page limits, formatting, and submission guidelines.
• Conduct compliance checks, quality assurance, and final readiness assessments.
• Write, edit, and enhance technical, management, staffing, transition, past performance, executive summary, and corporate capability volumes.
• Convert technical inputs into compelling, customer-oriented proposal narratives.
• Partner with subject matter experts to formulate compliant proposal responses.
• Utilize AI-assisted proposal tools with human oversight.
• Create and maintain templates, checklists, style guides, content libraries, resumes, past performance databases, and reusable proposal resources.
• Develop scalable proposal processes and enhance proposal operations through automation, AI-enabled workflows, lessons learned, and industry best practices.
• Create repeatable proposal management processes and a leading knowledge library.
• Manage concurrent DoD pursuits from kickoff to submission, improving the proposal win rate.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in managing Federal Government proposals.
• Proven success in supporting Department of Defense (DoD) proposal efforts.
• Strong knowledge of the Federal acquisition process, including FAR and DFARS.
• Extensive experience in developing compliance matrices, proposal schedules, and outlines.
• Excellent technical writing, editing, proofreading, and document production skills.
• Outstanding organizational, project management, and time management skills.
• Ability to independently handle multiple high-priority proposals with minimal supervision.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience in coordinating cross-functional proposal teams in fast-paced environments.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to proposal compliance and quality.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, if necessary for the opportunity.
• Preferred: APMP Foundation, Practitioner, or Professional Certification.
• Preferred: Experience supporting U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy, Space Force, SOCOM, Defense Agencies, or other Federal clients.
• Preferred: Familiarity with NextStage, GovWin, GovTribe, SAM.gov, and other Federal opportunity and proposal management platforms.
• Preferred: Experience with AI-enabled proposal tools, including ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot.
• Preferred: Ability to implement AI-assisted proposal workflows while ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance.
